The Herrmann-Johnson Method for Biharmonic Problems: Mapping Properties and Preconditioning

In this talk, for biharmonic boundary value problems, the Herrmann Johnson mixed methods is considered. Mapping properties of the involved parameters on the continious case, as well as on the discrete level are studied. Based on this, effcient preconditioners are constructed and numerical experiments are shown.
