The Isogeometric Analysis (IGA) is very suitable framework to represent and to discretize Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) on surfaces. In this talk we use the Discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method to handle the IGA of second-order elliptic PDEs diffusion problems on open and closed surfaces with multi-patch NURBS surfaces.

We present both the analysis for the error estimates in the DG- and $L_{2}-$norms and also present some numerical results confirming our theoretical estimates.
