In this talk, several Discontinuous Galerkin Finite Element Methods (DGFEM) will be presented for solving realistic flow problems. In particular, we will see DG methods for discretizing Navier-Stokes equations of compressible flows incompressible flows. For some simplified problems theoretical analysis will be presented. Numerical examples of classical benchmark problems that certify the effectiveness of the proposed method will be shown.
