The Herrmann-Johnson Method for Biharmonic Problems: Mapping Properties and Preconditioning
Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang KrendlMay 20, 2014, 3:30 p.m. S2 059
In this talk, for biharmonic boundary value problems, the Herrmann Johnson
mixed methods is considered. Mapping properties of the involved parameters on
the continious case, as well as on the discrete level are studied. Based on this,
ecient preconditioners are constructed and numerical experiments are shown.
