Boundary element methods for Stokes Dirichlet control problems

In this talk we discuss boundary element methods for Stokes Dirichlet control problem. Starting with a model problem, we propose the reformulation of the said optimal control problem into an equivalent system of boundary integral equations. The resulting coupled system is then solved for the unknown control on the Dirichlet boundary. Numerical example confirming the theoretical findings will also be presented. The talk is based on joined work with G. Of and O. Steinbach.
